San Francisco 49ers impending unrestricted free-agent cornerback Richard Sherman, who will turn 33 years old in March, said he wants to follow through with his original plan of playing in the NFL until he's 35. Sherman earned his fifth Pro Bowl selection and made the second-team All-Pro squad in 2019 with San Fran, but he appeared in just five games due to a calf injury in 2020. The veteran doesn't expect to re-sign with the 49ers, though, given their many free agents and lack of salary cap space. Sherman mentioned the Las Vegas Raiders as a potential designation, with new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley working with Sherman in Seattle in 2011-12. The 32-year-old can bring a veteran presence to any secondary and can still be successful when healthy, but he's past his days of being one of the best lockdown corners in the league.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
