Richard Fitts, Kyle Harrison are Candidates to Start on Monday
Richard Fitts and Kyle Harrison are both candidates to take the mound for Monday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. The Red Sox are looking for a pitcher to fill the void in the rotation with Walker Buehler heading to the bullpen. It would make the most sense for the Red Sox to start Fitts, who is already on the roster. They recalled him as an extra bullpen arm for their series against the New York Yankees. Fitts holds a 4.83 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and a 34/13 K/BB across 10 starts this season. Otherwise, Harrison would need to be recalled from Triple-A to make his team debut. He was traded to Boston in the deal that sent Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants earlier this summer. Both pitchers would offer low-end streaming appeal for fantasy managers.
