Red Sox An Option For Chris Taylor?
3 years agoThe Boston Red Sox could be a player for free-agent infielder/outfielder Chris Taylor after they had success with the signing of another versatile ex-Los Angeles Dodger in Enrique Hernandez. The Red Sox covet versatility in their position players, and Taylor certainly fits that bill, as he's able to play any outfield spot as well as shortstop and second base. He can also swing a pretty good bat. Taylor hit .254/.344/.438 with a .782 OPS, 20 home runs, 73 RBI, 13 stolen bases and 92 runs scored in 507 at-bats over 148 games for the Dodgers in the 2021 regular season. He was even better in the postseason, hitting .351/.419/.784 with a 1.202 OPS, four home runs and 12 RBI in only 43 plate appearances. Taylor would remain extremely popular in fantasy if he were to land in Boston.
