Rangers Activate Jon Gray
Jon Gray (forearm) from the injured list on Wednesday, according to MLB.com's Kennedi Landry. Gray will return to the big-league roster this week after allowing a run with two walks and five strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings and 61 pitches in his final minor-league rehab outing for Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday. The 33-year-old veteran threw 37 of his 61 pitches for strikes in what was his third rehab appearance. Gray should return to Texas' starting rotation, but it's unclear when he might make his first start of the season. And when he does debut in 2025, fantasy managers would be wise to stay away, as Texas figures to ease the veteran righty back into the fold. He hasn't been as dominant as many people thought with the move from Colorado to Texas, posting a 4.16 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 362:121 K:BB in his 76 outings (72 starts) in his three years with the Rangers.
