Rams Non-Committal On Starting QB For Week 12
2 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said "you'll see on Sunday" whether rookie quarterback Bryce Perkins starts under center in Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs. McVay confirmed that Perkins received first-team repetitions in practice this week with John Wolford (neck) being limited. The Rams already ruled out Matthew Stafford (concussion, neck). It will most likely be the 25-year-old Perkins getting the starting nod for the Rams, which will be his first career NFL start. LA's offense is in shambles right now without Stafford and Cooper Kupp (ankle), and they could also be without tight end Tyler Higbee and receiver Allen Robinson II due to injuries this Sunday. Perkins will be a desperation low-end QB2 in superflex leagues if he's starting, while the Chiefs defensive unit is a must-start this weekend.
