Jhoan Duran Feels "100%"
Philadelphia Phillies closer Jhoan Duran (ankle) told Scott Lauber of the Philadelphia Inquirer that he feels "100%" after taking a comebacker off his right ankle Friday. Duran is walking without a limp, according to Lauber. The hard-throwing right-hander left on a cart after the Washington Nationals' Paul DeJong lined an infield single off him in the Phillies' 6-2 win. X-rays came back negative after the game, and a day later, it appears Duran is out of the woods. That's welcome news for the Phillies and fantasy managers, as Duran has been outstanding in 2025. The trade deadline pickup from the Minnesota Twins has converted 20 of his 22 save opportunities while pitching to a 1.86 ERA with a 1.13 WHIP and 56:18 K:BB in 53 1/3 innings.
