Russell Wilson Throws a Pick in Win Over Jets
Russell Wilson threw for 108 yards and an interception off 4-for-7 passing in Saturday's victory over the Jets. The veteran signal-caller hasn't done much in the Giants' first two preseason contests. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart put together an impressive showing on Saturday night, accounting for two of the team's trips to the end zone. However, Wilson will remain the team's starter heading into the Week 1 NFC East clash with the Washington Commanders. While Wilson's position on the depth chart won't make him a trustworthy fantasy option, he still deserves starting consideration in Superflex formats. With that in mind, if he goes down with an injury or plays poorly, Dart may find himself under center. If that happens, Wilson may not be able to reclaim his place as the No. 1 option on the depth chart. The Giants will close out the preseason against the New England Patriots on Thursday evening.
