The Carolina Panthers signed former Las Vegas Raiders safety Tre'von Moehrig to a three-year, $51 million deal on Monday, according to FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Moehrig will head to the NFC South for the next three years after coming off a career year with the Raiders in 2024 in which he had a career-best 104 tackles (64 solo), one sack, five tackles for loss, two interceptions, 10 pass breakups and two fumble recoveries in 17 starts. The 25-year-old defensive back's new deal ensures he'll be a starter in 2025 in his first year in Carolina after the Panthers made former first-round cornerback Jaycee Horn the highest-paid defensive back in the league on Monday. Moehrig was taken in the second round by Vegas in 2021 out of TCU, and he had 297 tackles (202) solo, three sacks, eight tackles for loss, five QB hits, six picks, 29 pass breakups and two fumble recoveries in his first four seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
