Panthers Defense Could Be Short-Handed Against Chiefs
4 years agoCarolina Panthers rookie safety Jeremy Chinn (knee), defensive tackle Zach Kerr (toe) and defensive end Marquis Haynes (shoulder) are all listed as questionable for Week 9 against the Chiefs. Kerr practiced in full each of the last two days, so his status is looking good. Chinn, the team's second-round pick, has played nearly every defensive snap this year and has been an excellent open-field tackler for IDP purposes. He ranks eighth among all defensive backs in fantasy points this year. Even though the Chiefs haven't been a good matchup for safeties in 2020, Chinn will be a top-10 IDP starter at his position if he's active. The Panthers Defense, on the other hand, should be avoided against Kansas City.
