Tyler Higbee Cleared for Week 6
Tyler Higbee (hip) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Baltimore Ravens. Higbee will be back in action after missing Week 5 and being a limited participant in practice this week. Heading into Week 6, Higbee has six receptions for 62 yards and zero touchdowns. It's worth noting that Higbee could see increased playing time with Colby Parkinson (concussion) banged up. Despite that, Higbee hasn't done enough on the field to give fantasy managers a reason to start him this weekend.

Tutu Atwell Questionable for Week 6
Tutu Atwell (hamstring) is currently listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Atwell popped up on the injury report on Thursday and has been limited during practice. This could end up being a game-time decision considering hamstring issues can be tricky. Atwell has come up with a few big plays for the Rams over the last two games. His absence would likely mean more playing time for Jordan Whittington. Neither player is a recommended streaming option for this weekend.

Jake Bates Worth Starting in Week 6?
Jake Bates has made six of his eight field goal attempts so far this season and has not yet missed an extra-point try. Playing for a Lions team that has averaged 34.8 points per game, Bates currently leads the NFL in extra-point attempts for the second straight season. The 26-year-old will face the Kansas City Chiefs on the road in Week 6. Kansas City is allowing an average of 21.4 points per contest, so this could be a more difficult game for Detroit to put up points. Still, Bates profiles as a low-end starting kicker option in Week 6.

Isaac TeSlaa In Line for Largest Snap Share of the Season in Week 6?
Isaac TeSlaa hauled in his second touchdown catch of the season in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals and now has three catches for 54 yards and two scores through his first five NFL games. TeSlaa gets a difficult matchup in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs, who have allowed the ninth-fewest passing yards (999) and the fourth-fewest number of passing touchdowns (five) in the NFL so far this season. On the bright side, TeSlaa could be in line for his largest snap share of the season with Lions WR3 Kalif Raymond (neck) officially listed as questionable to play in Week 6 due to a neck injury. TeSlaa still cannot be counted on for fantasy production in Week 6, but he's a player to monitor as a stash candidate in deep leagues for his season-long upside.

Michael Mayer Cleared for Week 6, in Play as TE2 Streamer Against Titans
Michael Mayer (concussion) was a full participant in practice all week after being cleared from the league's concussion protocol, and he has been removed from the Week 6 injury report, according to Ryan McFadden of ESPN. It means that Mayer will play this Sunday in a great matchup against the Tennessee Titans after missing the last two games due to a concussion. Additionally, the 24-year-old should serve as the Raiders' primary pass-catching tight end now that Brock Bowers (knee) will officially miss his second straight game. In his first three games of 2025, before suffering a concussion, Mayer caught only six of his seven targets for 47 yards and no touchdowns, but it was also in the TE2 role behind Bowers. Even though it's Mayer's first game back in several weeks, his expanded role should at least make him worthy of consideration as a TE2 streamer in deeper fantasy leagues.

Sam LaPorta Set to Build on Week 5 Breakout in Week 6?
Sam LaPorta had by far his best game of the 2025 season in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals, recording five catches for 92 yards and a touchdown on six targets. LaPorta now has 21 catches for 269 yards and a score on 27 targets through five games. However, the Lions have a difficult matchup in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City has allowed the ninth-fewest passing yards (999) and the fourth-fewest number of passing touchdowns (five) in the NFL so far this season. The Chiefs are also particularly stingy against tight ends, allowing an average of just 3.6 receptions and 32.8 yards per game to the position. Still, LaPorta will likely be the Lions' second-leading target-getter behind star wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown. LaPorta profiles as a must-start fantasy tight end in Week 6.

Jameson Williams May Be a Player to Avoid in Week 6
Jameson Williams has struggled to maintain a consistent role in his team's offense so far this season. Through five games, the 24-year-old has recorded just 11 catches for 223 yards and one touchdown on 21 targets. Williams is averaging over 20 yards per reception and remains an explosive downfield threat, but his middling target volume makes him very difficult for fantasy managers to trust. Williams' Week 6 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs does not appear to be a great spot for him to break out. The Chiefs have allowed the ninth-fewest passing yards (999) and the fourth-fewest number of passing touchdowns (five) in the NFL so far this season. Additionally, the Lions could be without starting left tackle Taylor Decker (shoulder), which may make it difficult for quarterback Jared Goff to have the time to hit Williams for a big play down the field. Williams profiles as a low-end, boom/bust WR3/flex option in Week 6 against Kansas City.

Cameron Dicker Remains a Reliable Top-Tier Kicker
Cameron Dicker remains perfect this season and is poised for a high-volume week against a vulnerable Miami Dolphins defense. Although the Chargers' offense has recently struggled, with fewer red-zone opportunities due to penalties and turnovers, the favorable matchup should help them move the ball more effectively. Kicker consistency is essential in fantasy, and Dicker is a proven asset capable of making long field goals, as demonstrated by his 55-yard kick last week. The hope is that the offense regains its rhythm, but even if they settle for field goals outside the 20, Dicker offers a high floor. RotoBaller projects Dicker as K4 this week. He is a clear must-start and should be included in all starting lineups.

Mac Jones Iffy to Play in Week 6?
Mac Jones (knee, oblique) is dealing with multiple injuries and is officially questionable to play in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road on Sunday, per The Athletic's David Lombardi. Brock Purdy (toe) has already been ruled out for the fourth time this year due to a turf-toe injury, so the Niners are expecting the gritty Jones to play through his injuries this weekend. The 27-year-old Alabama product has been dealing with a minor PCL sprain in his knee early this season, and he suffered an oblique injury in last week's win over the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night. His injuries didn't stop him from carving up the Rams' defense for over 300 yards and two touchdowns last week. While an encore probably isn't in the cards for Jones, especially without receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee), he'll be in play as a low-end QB2 in leagues that start two QBs.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Available to Play in Week 6, Remains Must-Start Wide Receiver
Amon-Ra St. Brown missed the team's Wednesday practice this week due to a wrist injury, but he practiced in full on Thursday and Friday and does not carry an injury designation into Detroit's Week 6 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. St. Brown has been one of the most productive wideouts in the NFL so far this season, recording 35 catches for 407 yards and six touchdowns through five games. Kansas City has fielded a stingy pass defense so far this season, allowing the ninth-fewest passing yards (999) and fourth-fewest number of passing touchdowns (five) in the NFL. Still, St. Brown should see a significant target volume as the clear number one option in the Lions' passing game for quarterback Jared Goff. St. Brown profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver in Week 6 against the Chiefs.

Rookie Oronde Gadsden Continues to be a Stash Option Heading into Week 6
Oronde Gadsden faces a Miami Dolphins defense this week that ranks eighth-worst in yards allowed per game to tight ends. Despite this favorable matchup, Gadsden's target share has decreased since his first game, where he drew seven targets, as he only caught his single target for 14 yards last week. While the fifth-round pick adds size and talent, the entire Chargers offense is struggling to find consistency due to offensive line issues and penalties, which in turn affects Gadsden's usage. He will likely need Justin Herbert to have ample time in the pocket to earn a meaningful target share. RotoBaller projects Gadsden as TE30. He should stay on your bench and is only a stash for managers in deep dynasty or keeper leagues.

David Montgomery a Good Bet to Find the End Zone in Week 6?
David Montgomery logged a season-high 18 carries in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals, finishing with 65 rushing yards and a touchdown. The 28-year-old also tossed the second touchdown pass of his career on a trick play. Heading into a Week 6 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, Montgomery should be expected to return to the 1B role in the Lions' backfield alongside Jahmyr Gibbs. Kansas City has been surprisingly subpar against the run so far this season, ranking 24th in rushing touchdowns allowed (six) and 26th in yards per carry allowed (4.8). Montgomery's limited touch ceiling while playing next to Gibbs makes him reliant on touchdowns for fantasy production, but he looks like a decent bet to find the end zone against the Chiefs. In Week 6, Montgomery profiles as a low-end fantasy RB2.

Kimani Vidal to Share Backfield in Favorable Matchup
Kimani Vidal enters Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins, sharing the backfield with Hassan Haskins after Omarion Hampton (ankle) was placed on IR this week. Vidal looked like the more explosive option last week, averaging 4.5 yards per carry on four rushes and splitting targets with Haskins. Facing the Miami Dolphins, who rank dead last in average rushing yards allowed, presents a significant opportunity for the backfield. However, OC Greg Roman confirmed a committee approach that limits Vidal's volume. Although he's capable in the passing game, don't assume Vidal is set to handle most pass-catching downs, as he only posted 18 receptions in his final year at Troy. RotoBaller ranks him as RB33. He could be more of a touchdown-dependent high-end RB3/FLEX option this week, and managers should monitor his usage throughout the game.

Jauan Jennings Questionable to Suit Up in Week 6
Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) is officially listed as questionable to play this Sunday in a Week 6 matchup against the hosting Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to The Athletic's David Lombardi. Jennings did not play in the Week 5 win over the Los Angeles Rams last Thursday night and didn't practice on Wednesday. However, the 28-year-old was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday, giving him a chance to return this weekend. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Ricky Pearsall (knee) has been ruled out for a second straight game, so if Jennings can get the green light to play, he should as the team's WR1, barring any snap-count restrictions. The caveat is that quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) will miss his fourth game of the year, leaving banged-up backup Mac Jones (knee, oblique) to lead the offense again. Jennings could be a game-day decision, making him a very shaky WR4/flex play for fantasy managers.
