ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, rib) is expected to be available for Sunday's road matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jennings has been in and out of the lineup this season while battling through an ankle injury and other secondary injuries, but he's projected to gut it out in Week 6 against the hosting Buccaneers. San Francisco's offense still has a way to go before returning to full strength, but Jennings' return will also coincide with quarterback Mac Jones (knee, oblique) getting the nod to play, so they won't be without all of their playmakers. With teammate Ricky Pearsall (knee) still sidelined, fellow WRs Kendrick Bourne and Demarcus Robinson will continue to see extra playing time behind Jennings. It wouldn't be surprising to see the 28-year-old eased back in.--Alex Ciulla

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones (knee, oblique) is expected to be active for his team's matchup with the hosting Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jones has now dealt with knee and oblique injuries over the past few weeks, but will again get the start for the 49ers despite logging a week's worth of limited practices. Schefter also notes that teammate Brock Purdy (toe) has a "chance" to return in Week 7. It's excellent news for San Francisco, as the team is dealing with a mess of injuries on both sides of the ball. Reportedly, the team should also have wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, rib) active, aiding Jones with Ricky Pearsall (knee) still at least a week away.--Alex Ciulla

ESPN's NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that Carolina Panthers tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) is unlikely to play in his team's home outing against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. Sanders' practice participation was up and down this week, leading up to the Panthers' matchup with Dallas, with a full session on Thursday being bookended by two limited ones. Per Schefter, he'll need another week to recover. Teammates Tommy Tremble and Mitchell Evans have operated as Carolina's first and second option at TE, respectively, in Sanders' absence, and they figure to do so again Sunday against the Cowboys. However, neither project to be a particularly enticing option for fantasy.--Alex Ciulla

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (shoulder) is expected to be available for his team's matchup with the visiting Los Angeles Rams, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Boston College alum was a limited participant in practice this week due to a shoulder injury. Despite the questionable designation, Flowers will prepare to play on Sunday, but will again be without quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring), lowering the floor and ceiling of all Ravens' skill players. The 25-year-old was the team's leading receiver in Week 5 with Cooper Rush at the helm, but it's unclear if his ailing shoulder will limit his snaps. If that's the case, teammates DeAndre Hopkins and Rashod Bateman are the most likely wideouts to see an uptick in targets, with tight end Mark Andrews set to absorb more work as well.--Alex Ciulla

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston (hamstring) is trending toward being inactive for Sunday's road meeting with the Miami Dolphins. Johnston picked up a hamstring injury that limited him at practice leading up to Sunday's outing, leaving him with a questionable tag. However, it appears he won't be healthy enough to suit up against the hosting Dolphins. Fellow wideouts Keenan Allen and Ladd McConkey figure to pick up a few extra looks in his absence, while rookies Tre Harris and Keandre Lambert-Smith should benefit from an uptick in snaps. Tight end Oronde Gadsden could also be in for an elevated workload with Johnston sidelined.--Alex Ciulla

Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz was held catchless in a game in Week 5 against the Chargers for the first time since Week 13 of the 2014 season, crazy enough. Ertz has been a reliable target over the middle for quarterback Jayden Daniels, but the two did not connect on just one target in Week 5. He'll look to get back on track Monday night against a Bears defense that has allowed nearly 30 points per game through four weeks. And Ertz could see an increase in targets if star receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is unable to play. Ertz remains a low-end TE1 for Monday night.--Kyle McCarthy

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore has played as the primary outside receiver while top receivers Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (quad, knee) have missed multiple games. Moore has played at least 50% of the snaps in each of the past three weeks, but hasn't been a real target earner and has dropped multiple balls as well, including a touchdown last week against the Chargers. He's caught just two of six targets since Week 3. If Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is unable to go on Monday against the Bears, then Moore could see a bump in targets. Even then, Moore is not a recommended option for Week 6.--Kyle McCarthy

Washington Commanders wide receiver Jaylin Lane has made a big impact as a punt returner this season and has made plays when his number has been called on offense. Lane has seen more time on offense with top wide receivers Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (quad, knee), both dealing with mult-game absences. Lane caught only one ball in Washington's Week 5 win over the Chargers, but it came on a crucial 3rd and 16 deep in their own territory in the second quarter that helped sustain the drive and lead to their first touchdown of the game. And if Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is unable to go, Lane would likely be in line to take some of those designed and underneath targets to get the ball in his hands. Samuel looks like a true game-time decision, which is a frustrating situation on Monday night. The rookie wide receiver has upside against a Bears defense that has allowed the sixth most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers through four games this season.--Kyle McCarthy

Washington Commanders wide receiver Luke McCaffrey has made a handful of spectacular plays over the last few weeks, with star wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) injured. McLaurin is now ruled out for the third consecutive game and opens up more routes for McCaffrey, who has been taking advantage. The second-year wide receiver had one of the highlight plays of Week 5, making an incredibly difficult diving catch on a beautiful 50-yard deep pass from Jayden Daniels. McCaffrey hasn't drawn a high number of targets, but his playmaking ability has been evident, and Daniels' faith in him appears to be growing by the week. McCaffrey will have a chance to stack his positive performances in Week 6 against the Bears, who have allowed the sixth most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers. He is on the WR4-WR5 line for Week 6.--Kyle McCarthy

Washington Commanders wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) would be in line for another high number of targets on Monday night if he can play. Samuel is currently listed as questionable as he manages a heel issue. The veteran wide receiver has been the engine of Washington's passing attack with Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) out and set to miss his third consecutive game. Samuel was limited in practice throughout the week, and it looks like the team will take the decision into Monday, which is frustrating for fantasy managers. If he can suit up, Samuel would be projected as a firm WR1 against a Chicago defense that is allowing the sixth most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers. If unable to go, then second-year receiver Luke McCaffrey and rookie Jaylin Lane would be in line for more opportunities.--Kyle McCarthy

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett is expected to start in Sunday's clash with the Colts. Kyler Murray (foot) still has a chance to play. However, that's unlikely, although NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported that a final decision won't come until Sunday morning. Unfortunately, there's belief Murray might miss extended time due to a mid-foot sprain, meaning Brissett could be under center in Week 6 and beyond. The signal-caller has been a reliable fantasy quarterback (at times) over the years. In 89 regular-season appearances, he has thrown for 11,400 yards, 53 touchdowns, and 24 picks, adding 15 scores on the ground. While Brissett potentially has a tough matchup on tap against a capable Colts' defense, the potential for Murray to be sidelined for more than a game makes him worth adding to fantasy rosters, mostly by those participating in deeper Superflex formats.--Dennis Clausen

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the Arizona Cardinals "are leaving the door open" for quarterback Kyler Murray (foot) to suit up on Sunday versus the Colts. However, the team is realistically "preparing" for Jacoby Brissett to start in Week 6, although a final decision won't come until Sunday morning. The signal-caller is reportedly dealing with a "mid-foot sprain," with Rapoport adding that it's "a version of a Lisfranc injury." Unfortunately, that could sideline Murray for more than just one week. As far as Brissett is concerned, he's had some quality performances over the years. In 89 regular-season games, he's thrown for 11,400 yards, 53 touchdowns, and 24 interceptions, adding 15 more scores on the ground. With that said, Brissett has some value for managers in deeper superflex formats despite a tough matchup on the horizon, especially with injuries at the QB position and a few teams getting the week off.--Dennis Clausen

Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble hasn't done much for fantasy managers this season. While he had five catches (eight targets) for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Week 4 loss to the New England Patriots, he has been nearly irrelevant from a production standpoint. Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) is listed as questionable heading into the Week 6 meeting with the Dallas Cowboys, so there's a chance he won't be out there once again. Sure, the potential for added involvement should increase Tremble's fantasy potential. Still, even if Sanders remains sidelined, fantasy managers will be taking a gamble by rolling with the 25-year-old as their starting tight end for the favorable matchup with the Cowboys. especially with Xavier Legette in the mix.--Dennis Clausen

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Hunter Renfrow had seven catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 2 loss to the Cardinals. However, outside of that performance, he hasn't done much, most recently catching one pass for seven yards in the Week 5 win over the Dolphins. Xavier Legette found the end zone in that one, so his stock is higher heading into the Week 6 meeting with the Dallas Cowboys, especially with Jalen Coker (quadriceps) unable to make his professional debut. All things considered, none of the Panthers' wideouts can be trusted. Although Tetairoa McMillan should still draw starting consideration versus a weak Cowboys defense, the same can't be said for Renfrow, even if Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) doesn't suit up.--Dennis Clausen

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan remains the team's No. 1 option on the depth chart. He's logged 305 offensive snaps through the first five weeks of the 2025 campaign, with Hunter Renfrow sitting behind him with 192. Unfortunately, that hasn't necessarily translated into consistent production from the rookie. McMillan currently has 24 catches (43 targets) for 351 yards. However, he still hasn't scored a touchdown. With that said, the Panthers may continue to rely mostly on Rico Dowdle against Dallas, his former team, in Week 6. Although McMillan is the favorite to see the most attention from Bryce Young on the receiving end versus a week Cowboys defense, fantasy managers will be taking a gamble by having him in their lineups. Still, the wideout has been a top-30 fantasy producer in standard and PPR formats, so he deserves starting consideration.--Dennis Clausen
