Caleb Williams "Hasn't Been Consistent Enough"
Caleb Williams has had good moments in training camp this summer, but it "hasn't been consistent enough," and the "accuracy hasn't been there like it was last summer." Fishbain lists Williams' stock as neutral right now after a sloppy practice on Monday. He also cautions that there's still almost a month until the season opener, and Williams has the right coach calling plays and an upgraded offensive line in front of him. "It hasn't been a smooth camp for the passing offense." It wasn't all terrible for the former first overall pick in his rookie season, as he threw for 3,541 yards and 20 touchdowns against only six interceptions. However, he was sacked a league-high 68 times and remains a work in progress going into his sophomore season. There's still plenty of upside, but he's best drafted as a high-end QB2 as he continues to devlop.Source: The Athletic - Kevin Fishbain
The Athletic's Kevin Fishbain writes that Chicago Bears quarterback Marquise Brown Missing Another Practice
Marquise Brown (ankle, foot) is set to miss another training camp practice on Tuesday, according to Pete Sweeney of Arrowhead Pride. Brown has not practiced with the team since July 29 due to an ankle/foot injury, although the 28-year-old is making progress and has resumed running. Head coach Andy Reid said that Hollywood's injury isn't expected to require surgery or anything like that, so they are staying optimistic that he'll be ready to play for the start of the 2025 regular season in early September. And with Rashee Rice most likely being suspended for anywhere from four to six games to begin the year, Brown should have an elevated role in the offense early on if he's available. We'd be surprised if Brown plays in the team's second preseason game this Friday against the Seattle Seahawks.Source: Arrowhead Pride - Pete Sweeney
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. has Developed Strong Chemistry With Jayden Daniels
Deebo Samuel Sr. and quarterback Jayden Daniels have developed a strong chemistry, which has been a "product of their reps before practices, conversations between seriess and budding friendship off the field." Samuel has been the "primary bright spot amid growing concern about the Commanders' receiving corps." The 29-year-old has taken advantage with Terry McLaurin holding out and Noah Brown dealing with injuries. Jhabvala writes that Samuel appears to be motivated by a fresh start and a soon-to-be-expiring contract after a disappointing final season in San Francisco. Samuel has dropped some weight and appears to be in much better shape in 2025 as well. If he stays healthy, Samuel could bounce back and be a nice value pick in fantasy drafts as a WR3/flex in an up-tempo offense.Source: The Athletic - Nicki Jhabvala

Christian Watson Likely to Begin Season on PUP List
Christian Watson (knee) will likely start the regular season on the Physically Unable to Peform list. It means that Watson will have to miss at least the first four games of the year after tearing his ACL late last year, but Gutekunst said that Watson will be "chomping at the bit" to after that. "It's gonna take a lot of us to hold him back," Gutekunst said. The Packers have their bye in Week 5, so barring a setback in his recovery, it seems very plausible that the 26-year-old pass-catcher will be able to make his 2025 debut in a Week 6 showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals. When Watson returns, he'll be battling for targets in a crowded receiver room alongside Jayden Reed, Rombeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks and rookie first-rounder Matthew Golden.Source: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman
Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said that wide receiver Kenneth Walker III Alternating Practice Days
Kenneth Walker III (foot) dealt with a sore foot in the first few days of August before returning to a full practice last week, according to The Tacoma News Tribune's Gregg Bell. Since last week, Walker has been alternating days off, and head coach Mike Macdonald said Walker will be fine for the regular-season opener in early September. "We have a program. We have a plan for Ken," Macdonald said. "And we're sticking to the plan." It's a smart plan given how much time the 24-year-old has missed in recent years due to lower-body injuries. He played in a career-low 11 games in 2024 and finished with 573 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 153 rushing attempts. Walker is outside the RB1 conversation because of his injury risk and the fact that Seattle will most likely look to get Zach Charbonnet more involved to lessen the wear and tear on Walker moving forward.Source: The Tacoma News Tribune - Gregg Bell

Matthew Stafford Not Warming Up With QBs on Tuesday
Matthew Stafford (back) is not warming up with the other quarterbacks to start Tuesday's training camp practice. Stafford didn't have any limitations during a pre-game workout on Saturday before the preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys and was expected to practice for the first time this summer on Monday. The Rams held the 37-year-old out on Monday, and it looks like Stafford is going to miss another practice as he deals with a disc aggravation in his back. The Rams are choosing to be "flexible and fluid" with Stafford, but the longer he goes without practicing, the more questions will arise as to whether he'll be 100% for the Week 1 regular-season opener. If for some reason Stafford's back injury lingers, Jimmy Garoppolo would run L.A.'s offense.Source: ESPN.com - Sarah Barshop
Sarah Barshop of ESPN says that Los Angeles Rams quarterback A.J. Brown Limited in Tuesday's Practice
A.J. Brown (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant in Tuesday's training camp practice, according to Tim McManus of ESPN. Brown missed a week of practices due to a hamstring ailment, but he's been limited since getting back on the field on Sunday. The Eagles are being cautious with their 28-year-old star receiver, and don't be surprised if he doesn't suit up in the preseason at all. For fantasy managers, there's no reason yet to be worried about his status for the Week 1 regular-season opener on Sept. 4 versus the division-rival Dallas Cowboys. Brown has been a Pro Bowler in two of his three years in Philadelphia and has reached the 1,000-yard mark in five of his six NFL campaigns, including in each of the last three years. The former second-rounder has had at least seven touchdowns since 2022 and is a top-10 fantasy wideout going into his seventh year.Source: ESPN.com - Tim McManus

Tyrion Davis-Price Signs With Packers
Tyrion Davis-Price is signing an undisclosed deal with the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Davis-Price heads to the NFC North after he was released by the Tennessee Titans in th middle of July. The 24-year-old was originally a third-round pick (93rd overall) by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2022 NFL draft out of LSU. He never panned out in the Bay Area in two seasons there, carrying the ball a combined 40 times for 120 yards and no touchdowns on the ground in only seven games. Davis-Price appeared in one game with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024 and had three carries for seven yards. He will provide some depth in the RB room during the preseason behind Josh Jacobs, Emanuel Wilson, MarShawn Lloyd and Chris Brooks. Wilson and Lloyd have been banged up in camp.Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter
Free-agent running back Tyrod Taylor has "Procedure," Jets Hopefull He'll be Ready for Week 1
Tyrod Taylor (knee) had a "procedure" on his knee, but the team hopes that he will be ready to go for the Week 1 regular-season opener in early September. Taylor missed practice on Monday with his knee injury and will now likely miss the rest of the preseason. With the 36-year-old sidelined, Adrian Martinez and Brady Cook will see additional reps in practices and the preseason behind starter Justin Fields. Taylor is in his 15th season in the NFL and is going into his second year with the Jets. Last year behind Aaron Rodgers, he played in only two games and threw for 119 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions on 22 pass attempts. Taylor is completely off the fantasy radar as long as Fields is healthy.Source: New York Post - Brian Costello
New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said that veteran backup quarterback Texans to Place Brevin Jordan on Injured Reserve
Brevin Jordan (knee) on the season-ending Injured Reserve after he suffered a serious injury in Monday's training camp practice, a source tells Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle. It's unclear exactly what injury that Jordan suffered, but the 25-year-old was coming back from a torn ACL that limited him to just two games last year. It's a brutal blow for Jordan, who had been looking good in practices this summer as he competed for playing time behind starter Dalton Schultz. With Jordan now out for the entire 2025 season, Cade Stover and Irv Smith Jr. will be competing for playing time as the TE2 in Houston behind Schultz. In his four years in the NFL (all with Houston), Jordan has 53 catches on 80 targets for 532 yards and five touchdowns in 36 games (12 starts).Source: Houston Chronicle - Jonathan M. Alexander
The Houston Texans plan to place tight end Jordan Love Undergoes Procedure on Left Thumb
Jordan Love (thumb) is undergoing a procedure to fix a ligament issue in his left thumb, per ESPN's Rob Demovsky. Gutekunst says the hope is that Love will return to practice next week, and that the injury is not expected to affect him long-term or impact his Week 1 availability. The good news for both Packers fans and fantasy managers is that the injury is on Love's non-throwing hand, but this is still something to monitor throughout the remainder of the preseason. Love profiles as a mid-to-low-end QB2 in fantasy who needs passing volume to be a consistent contributor. If he were to miss time, Malik Willis would be the favorite to step in at quarterback in Green Bay, which would significantly impact the fantasy outlook of the Packers' pass-catchers.Source: ESPN - Rob Demovsky
