San Diego Padres general manager A.J. Preller said that the team has had "less than a handful" of positive COVID-19 tests in the last three weeks. All of the positive tests are on the minor league side of things, and none of them are in the 60-man player pool. The players/staffers that tested positive are all asymptomatic. All spring training facilities in Arizona and Florida have been shut down, and MLB teams are planning to use their home ballparks as the sites for spring training 2.0, which will begin later this week. Major league teams will surely be deep cleaning their home ballparks and requiring negative COVID-19 tests for all players and staff members involved.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
