Waldo Cortes-Acosta suffered a unanimous decision loss to Sergei Pavlovich on the main card of UFC Shanghai on Saturday. It could be said that Cortes-Acosta got the better of Pavlovich in the first round, but Pavlovich found his timing and pushed the pace in the second and third rounds. Pavlovich had the better striking, but Cortes-Acosta displayed impressive durability. In 15 minutes of action, Cortes-Acosta landed 45 significant strikes. With the loss, Cortes-Acosta dropped to 14-2 as a pro and is now 7-2 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic
