Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Back in Toronto's Lineup
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (hamstring) is back in the starting lineup on Monday for the series opener against the visiting Minnesota Twins and right-hander Joe Ryan at the Rogers Centre. Guerrero is serving as the designated hitter and is batting in the three-hole. Ty France will make another start at first. It is the first time since last Monday that Guerrero will be in the starting lineup due to left-hamstring inflammation, but he did pinch hit in Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins. Fantasy managers will want to get the 26-year-old All-Star back into their starting lineups immediately. Not only is Vladdy Jr. one of the best hitters in the game, he's had plenty of success against Ryan in his career, batting .375 with an .819 OPS and one RBI against him in eight at-bats. The Canadian slugger is hitting a robust .298 on the year with 21 homers, 69 RBI and 83 runs scored.
