Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Jakob Wright (undisclosed) was activated off the seven-day injured list on Thursday. It's not clear what was ailing the Dodgers' 29th-ranked prospect, but he hasn't pitched since June 15. The 2024 fourth-rounder looked good in his limited play this season, posting a 1.10 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 18 strikeouts in 16 1/3 innings pitched. The southpaw can use the remainder of the season to get back on track and make his case for a promotion to High-A next season. The Cal Poly product's signature slider in his arsenal of pitches gets plenty of whiffs, but it remains to be seen if the 6-foot hurler will remain a starter or transition to a reliever as he gets closer to the big leagues.--Jarod RuppRead More News
