The Green Bay Packers restructured the contract of nose tackle Kenny Clark on Wednesday, according to a source informed of the move. The restructure converted $7.2 million of salary and $6.4 million of a roster bonus into a $13.6 million signing bonus. The Packers also added two voidable years to his current deal to spread out his salary cap hit. The total restructure clears $10.8 million of cap space for the 2022 season. Green Bay is sitting $42.7 million above the projected salary cap this season, according to Over The Cap, so it's a notable first step for the team to get under the cap. Clark was named to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career in 2021 and had 48 tackles (27 solo) and four sacks in 16 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
