Jauan Jennings Ruled Out in Week 3
Jauan Jennings (ankle) will not suit up in Week 3 when the 49ers face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. Jennings is unable to practice all week due to the ankle injury. Managers should continue to monitor his status as he may not be able to play in Week 4 depending the severity of his injury. In Week 2, Jennings enjoyed a productive showing, catching five of his 10 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown. In Week 1, Jennings caught only two of his five targets for 16 yards. With Jennings sitting out, managers should expect Ricky Pearsall to operate as the team's lead pass catcher, while Kendrick Bourne should move up to the No. 2 role. However, most of the workload should go through running back Christian McCaffrey, who carries high-end RB1 upside in this contest.
