Oilers Nearing A Trade For Adam Henrique, Sam Carrick
9 months agoThe Edmonton Oilers are nearing a deal that would see them net forwards Adam Henrique and Sam Carrick from the Anaheim Ducks. While the exact return has yet to be released at this point, there is reportedly salary retention involved, as well as a third-party broker to help facilitate the swap. Henrique, 34, is in his 14th NHL season and his sixth full campaign with the Ducks. He has tallied 18 goals and 42 points across 60 games with 111 shots in that time. Carrick, 32, is also in his sixth season with the Ducks. He has appeared in a career-high 61 games this season and has tallied eight goals and 11 points with 77 shots on goal. The Oilers will likely continue to add as they sit second in the Pacific Division with a 38-20-2 record.
