Nolan Arenado Sitting Against Pirates
Nolan Arenado is absent from the team's starting lineup for Tuesday's game on the road against the division-rival Pittsburgh Pirates. Nolan Gorman will make the start at the hot corner and will bat fifth against Pirates right-hander Paul Skenes. Arenado jammed his right index finger in Sunday's series finale against the Cleveland Guardians and was removed from the game as a precaution before serving as the designated hitter in Monday's series-opening loss to the Bucs. It's possible that his finger could still be bothering him, but we'd expect Arenado to be back in there on Wednesday. Gorman has hit .267 (8-for-30) with three home runs, seven RBI, five runs scored and a stolen base in his last eight games, but DFS managers will probably be looking to avoid him against one of the most dominant young pitchers in the game on Tuesday in Skenes.
