There is no timetable for Detroit Lions edge rusher Marcus Davenport's (chest) return, but head coach Dan Campbell said on Tuesday that he's "confident" Davenport will return this year, according to Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News. The 29-year-old defensive end is eligible to return from Injured Reserve after injuring his chest in the Week 2 win against the Chicago Bears, but he will not be back with the team for this weekend's divisional game against the Minnesota Vikings. For now, the Lions will bide their time with Davenport as he continues to rehab his chest injury. The former first-rounder of the New Orleans Saints in 2018 out of Texas-San Antonio only managed to play in two games last year with Detroit, and he suited up for just four games the previous season with the Minnesota Vikings due to injuries.--Keith Hernandez
