Mitch Bratt Joining Arizona
Mitch Bratt, along with Kohl Drake and David Hagaman, from the Texas Rangers in exchange for right-hander Merrill Kelly. Bratt has spent his entire 2025 campaign pitching for Double-A Frisco. Through 90 2/3 innings of work (spent primarily on the rotation), Bratt has held a 3.18 ERA with a 1.18 WHIP. During this stretch, left-handed struck out 106 batters and allowed only 16 free passes. This is an excellent sign for the former fifth-round pick, as he held a much higher 5.45 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP during his first taste of Double-A during the 2024 campaign. Before the trade, Bratt was ranked as the No. 18-overall prospect in the system. Fantasy managers should expect Bratt to begin his tenure in the desert at the Double-A level.
