8/28:Texas Rangers relief pitcher Matt Bush (elbow) said he won't make it back on the mound this year. He has started a throwing program, but the remaining schedule won't give him enough time to return. After saving 10 games in 2017, Bush has been a disappointment this year with no saves, and he's thrown just 23 innings due to injuries. The hard-throwing right-hander could be an option for saves in Texas' bullpen next year, but he's no guarantee.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
