Mac Jones Practicing in Full, on Track for Another Start?
Mac Jones (knee) was listed as a full participant on Monday's estimated practice report, according to Cam Inman of the Bay Area News Group. Meanwhile, Brock Purdy (toe) was listed as a non-participant after coming out of Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars with soreness in his toe. Purdy missed Weeks 2 and 3 due to turf toe and a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder, and he could be in danger of missing a third game in a short turnaround in Week 5 on Thursday night against the division-rival Los Angeles Rams. Jones suffered a PCL sprain in the Week 3 win over the Arizona Cardinals, but he was active as Purdy's backup in Week 4. If Purdy doesn't get cleared to play on Thursday night, Jones will make his third start of the year in a tough matchup against L.A. Jones would be nothing more than a low-end QB2 streamer in two-QB superflex formats if he gets another starting nod.
