Kyle Harrison Delivers Quality Start on Tuesday
Kyle Harrison secured a win in his best outing since being dealt to the Red Sox, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and one walk while striking out five against Triple-A St. Paul. He generated a whiff on all four pitches in his arsenal, totaling 11 on 43 swings. He's now allowed just one earned run over his last 9.2 innings to go with 10 strikeouts. His season-long numbers at Triple-A, however, are still a bit inflated with a 4.07 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 48.2 innings. There's a good chance that we see Harrison up in Boston here relatively shortly, although his role is still up in the air. The 23-year-old lefty is worth putting on the watch list with his strong pedigree and chance of Boston unlocking him.
