Kyle Gibson Throws Four No-Hit Innings
4 years agoTexas Rangers starter Kyle Gibson was in midseason form on Wednesday when he threw four no-hit, shutout innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Through two spring starts, he's allowed just one hit and a K-BB of 6-1 in 5.0 innings of no-run baseball. The veteran hurler is expected to be a stabilizing force in the Rangers' starting rotation in his second season with the club. Gibson, 33, struggled with his command in 2020 and posted a 5.38 ERA in 12 starts while he saw his strikeout rate drop and his walk rate increase. He could be a steal in fantasy redraft leagues if his ADP continues to sit around 400.
