Killian Hayes Leads Pistons Offense In Season Finale
2 years agoDetroit Pistons guard Killian Hayes finished off the season with a game-high 26 points in Sunday's 103-81 loss in Chicago. He shot 8-for-18 from the field, including 3-for-8 from outside, and completed a good all-around performance with eight rebounds, seven assists and one block. Hayes saved some of his best performances for last, also putting up a season-high 28 points in Detroit's penultimate game against Indiana. The 21-year-old is typically a very unreliable scorer and finished the season shooting only 37.7 percent from the field. Hayes averaged 10.3 points with 2.9 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.4 steals, so he's capable of helping out managers in multiple areas. However, his role could completely change in 2023-24, with Cade Cunningham (shin) returning and the team getting a new head coach after Dwane Casey moved upstairs.
