Ketel Marte Back In Starting Lineup Against Mets
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (back) is back at the keystone and is hitting second in the batting order on Thursday against the New York Mets and right-hander Carlos Carrasco. Marte has been held out of the lineup a few days this week due to lower-back pain, but he entered as a pinch-hitter late in Wednesday's game and stayed in the contest to play defense at second base. Fantasy managers will want to get the 29-year-old Dominican switch-hitter back in their starting lineups immediately for Thursday's slate of games. He's currently hitting .284 (87-for-306) with 15 long balls, 13 doubles, four triples, 44 RBI, six stolen bases and 61 runs scored in 80 games played. He's hit .271 (13-for-48) with five homers, a double, 13 RBI and 11 runs scored in his last 13 games.
