Kareem Hunt Expected To Play Against Cardinals
3 years agoCleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt (knee, wrist) is beat up, but head coach Kevin Stefanski said he looked good in practice on Friday and will get more work than usual on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals with Nick Chubb (calf) ruled out. However, Hunt will also be on somewhat of a pitch count. "I don't want to kill Kareem," Stefanski said. Hunt was listed as questionable on the final injury report, but he's expected to suit up and be Cleveland's primary ball-carrier. D'Ernest Johnson and rookie Demetric Felton should have bigger roles behind Hunt, but we don't expect either of them to see enough touches to have standalone fantasy value behind Hunt. With the elevated role in this run-first offense, Hunt becomes a must-start RB1 with Chubb sidelined.
