The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms on a two-year, $30 million contract extension with offensive tackle Kaleb McGary, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. McGary has been a mainstay on the offensive line for Atlanta since being drafted in 2019, starting 92 of 93 career games at right tackle. He has been better as a run-blocker over his career and earned a run-blocking grade of 77.6 last season by PFF, which ranked 16th among tackles. His 63.8 pass-blocking grade was more middle of the pack, but lags compared to his performance in the run game. The 30-year-old will be trusted to protect quarterback Michael Penix Jr.'s blindside this upcoming season with him being a lefty quarterback.--Kyle McCarthy
