Kadarius Toney In, Darius Slayton Out Against Rams
3 years agoNew York Giants rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle) is active for the Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams, but receiver Darius Slayton (hamstring) will miss his third straight game. Toney, a first-round pick this spring, blew up for 10 catches on 13 targets for 189 yards with running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) and wideout Kenny Golladay (knee) getting injured last week against the Dallas Cowboys. He should remain heavily involved in an extremely difficult matchup against the Rams with Barkley and Golladay out on Sunday. Volume alone should make the impressive rookie worth considering as a WR3/flex with quarterback Daniel Jones (concussion) playing. Sterling Shepard (hamstring) is back after missing the last two games, but he could be followed by shutdown cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
