Justin Jefferson Still Being Evaluated
1 year agoMinnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said that wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) is still going through tests on his right hamstring after getting hurt in the Week 5 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. O'Connell said that Jefferson is "down" on Monday given his competitiveness and that the team will have to make sure it protects him "from himself." Whether that means he'll be able to play in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears on Sunday remains to be seen. The 24-year-old finished the loss to KC with just three catches for 28 yards, but he'll need to be returned to all starting fantasy lineups if he's able to practice later this week and play in Week 6. If Jefferson misses the game against Chicago, rookie Jordan Addison, K.J. Osborn and tight end T.J. Hockenson would be the primary pass-catchers.
