Josh Randall Traded to Washington
Kyle Finnegan. Before the trade, Randall was considered the No. 16-ranked prospect in the Detroit system on MLB.com. The Tigers selected Randall in the third round of the 2024 MLB Draft out of the University of San Diego. He opened the 2025 regular season with Low-A Lakeland and logged 75 1/3 innings to the tune of a 4.18 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP. During this stretch, Randall struck out 64 hitters. He was then given the call to join High-A West Michigan and logged five innings of one-run ball (zero earned runs) before being shipped to D.C. Fantasy managers should expect Randall to spend the rest of the season at the High-A level.
