Josh Naylor Still Absent From Starting Lineup
1 year agoCleveland Guardians first baseman Josh Naylor (wrist) continues to sit out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the visiting Atlanta Braves. Naylor suffered a right-wrist injury on Monday and will miss his second straight game as a result. It's unclear exactly how serious the injury is, so until further notice, fantasy managers should consider him to be day-to-day. The 26-year-old left-handed slugger is hitting a strong .295 (82-for-278) with 10 home runs, 18 doubles, 60 RBI, five stolen bases and 31 runs scored in 75 games played this year. There's a chance we won't see him in action again until after next week's All-Star break. David Fry will make the start at first base on Wednesday and will hit seventh against Braves right-hander Michael Soroka.
