Josh Naylor Still Absent From Starting Lineup
10 months agoCleveland Guardians first baseman Josh Naylor (wrist) continues to sit out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the visiting Atlanta Braves. Naylor suffered a right-wrist injury on Monday and will miss his second straight game as a result. It's unclear exactly how serious the injury is, so until further notice, fantasy managers should consider him to be day-to-day. The 26-year-old left-handed slugger is hitting a strong .295 (82-for-278) with 10 home runs, 18 doubles, 60 RBI, five stolen bases and 31 runs scored in 75 games played this year. There's a chance we won't see him in action again until after next week's All-Star break. David Fry will make the start at first base on Wednesday and will hit seventh against Braves right-hander Michael Soroka.
