Josh Berry was placed in a difficult spot. He was asked late to replace Chase Elliott in the No. 9 car. Berry had some issues in practice and not even 26 laps helped much. His 29th in practice not surprisingly translated to 32nd in qualifying. Berry's laps in practice were eight to nine tenths of a second slower than the top cars. He missed the subtle acceleration points and that led to a lap above 30 seconds. The unknown remains can Berry adjust by Sunday afternoon. Chase Elliott's car does have three straight top-10 March results. He only led one lap in the previous two Spring races, however. Berry can be a good DFS option as he should pick up some spots. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
