JoJo Romero Logs Four-Out Save
St. Louis Cardinals reliever JoJo Romero recorded four outs on Sunday to secure a 3-2 win over the Chicago Cubs and collect his third save of the year. The left-hander had to work around three singles and a walk in his 1 1/3 innings, but he managed his 13th scoreless appearance in 14 tries since the beginning of July. Romero now has a microscopic 1.98 ERA with 38:18 K:BB and a 52.3% groundball rate over 41 innings. He should continue to receive save opportunities thanks to the departure of former Cardinals closer Ryan Helsley, whom they sent to the New York Mets at the July 31 trade deadline.
