Joey Loperfido Exits Tuesday With Right-Knee Contusion
Joey Loperfido (knee) exited Tuesday's 10-4 win over the Rockies in the sixth inning with a right knee contusion. Loperfido was hit by a 98-MPH fastball in the knee and exited the game immediately. X-rays were negative, per MLB's Keegan Matheson, but fantasy managers should wait for further updates in the coming days. The 26-year-old went 1-for-2 with a single and a strikeout before being replaced by Myles Straw. Hopefully, he won't have to miss too much time, as Loperfido has been crushing the baseball with a .389/.436/.542 slash line since getting called up at the beginning of July.
