Jhostynxon Garcia, nicknamed "The Password," made his MLB debut in August 2025 with the Boston Red Sox, making just nine plate appearances across five games. In that minute sample size, the 23-year-old managed a double, two walks, and five strikeouts. The Venezuelan outfielder was promoted to the bigs following a breakout year in 2024 and a great showing in 2025, posting a .810 OPS across 114 games between Double-A and Triple-A, with 42 extra-base hits (21 home runs) and 75 RBI. With a surplus of outfielders in Boston, the Red Sox traded "The Password" to the Pittsburgh Pirates in December 2025 in exchange for two minor leaguers and pitcher Johan Oviedo. In Pittsburgh, Garcia figures to receive a better opportunity for more regular at-bats, particularly as a lefty specialist, since he struggled against righty pitching in the minors. He also has Gold Glove potential in the corner outfield. Garcia's 638.14 ADP makes him a likely waiver-wire candidate.--Lauren Amour
