Jhoan Duran Notches 25th Save Of Season Monday
Jhoan Duran picked up his 25th save of the season in Monday's 10-8 win over the Brewers. Duran came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning up by two and delivered a 1-2-3 performance with no strikeouts. The 27-year-old has been excellent all season and has been even better since joining the Phillies at the trade deadline. He has now converted 25 of 28 save opportunities on the season with a 1.95 ERA, a 1.13 WHIP, and a 9.90 K/9 rate in 60 innings of work. He should continue to be a high-end fantasy option now that he has joined a strong team where he can have a full grasp of the closer's role.
