Jeferson Quero Tallies Three Hits, Drives in Two on Tuesday
Jeferson Quero had a productive day at the plate on Tuesday for Triple-A Nashville, going 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored for the Sounds. It marked the fourth multi-hit effort in his last six games, and he's hitting .324 (12-for-37) since being reinstated from the injured list on June 3. The Brewers' second-ranked prospect (MLB No. 37) hit 16 home runs in his last full season of 2023, and even though he hit five home runs in his Complex League rehab assignment, he's yet to hit one for Nashville. Nevertheless, the 22-year-old owns better-than-average strikeout (17.2 percent) and walk (9.5 percent) rates during his minor league career, which, with his solid hit and power tools, should help get him to the majors later this year, even if it's just a late-season call-up.
