Jason Garrett Expected To Call Plays Sunday
4 years agoNew York Giants head coach Joe Judge said that the plan is to have offensive coordinator Jason Garrett calling the plays in Week 16 against the Ravens. There are still some logistical measures to be worked out, but Garrett is expected to be back in the fold after missing the Week 15 loss to the Browns due to COVID-19 protocols. It's good news for the Giants offense as a whole, especially if quarterback Daniel Jones (ankle, hamstring) returns after missing the game last week. But in the grand scheme of things it may not matter much against a strong Baltimore defense with something still left to play for. Jones should be considered a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues if he returns from injury. If he can't go, it'll be backup Colt McCoy leading the offense again.
