Jarren Duran Doing Weight-Bearing Exercises
1 year agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran (toe) is doing weight-bearing exercises as he progresses in his rehab from a toe injury. Duran needed surgery on Aug. 30 to fix the flexor tendon in his left big toe and was unable to finish out the 2023 season with Boston. Barring any setbacks this winter, the 27-year-old should be ready to roll for spring training next year. Before his toe injury, Duran had the best season of his young MLB career, going 98-for-332 (.295) with a career-high eight home runs, 34 doubles, two triples, 40 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 46 runs scored in 362 plate appearances and a career-high 102 games played in his third season. He should be a big part of Boston's outfield picture once again in 2024.
