1 year agoChicago White Sox third baseman Jake Burger will start on the bench on Wednesday as the team takes on the visiting Toronto Blue Jays. Zach Remillard will get the start at third base and bat eighth in the lineup against Blue Jays right-hander Jose Berrios. Burger has a useful 18 home runs on the year, but that's about where his fantasy contributions end. The 27-year-old right-handed hitter has gone 8-for-61 (.131) with two home runs, two doubles, two RBI and 25 strikeouts in 17 games played since June 16 to drop his season slash line to .217/.272/.513 in 68 games in his third big-league season. If Burger doesn't start picking it up soon, he could begin to lose more playing time in the second half of the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
