Detroit Tigers second baseman Gleyber Torres (oblique) is currently on the 10-day injured list with an oblique strain and remains without a set date for when he will begin a rehab assignment. While the 29-year-old's lack of a firm return timeline is a concern, Torres has been on the injured list since May 4 and should not be too far away from getting back to the big leagues. Before getting injured, the 29-year-old hit .259/.389/.329 with two home runs, 11 RBI, and 18 runs scored across 144 plate appearances. While Torres is no longer the same power threat he was earlier in his career, he's logged more walks (110) than strikeouts (123) since signing with the Tigers. Torres' ability to consistently get on base should keep his spot at the top of the Detroit lineup secure and allow him to rack up counting stats once healthy. In deeper leagues, fantasy managers may want to consider stashing Torres off the waiver wire ahead of his return.--Will Brady
