Hunter Dobbins Transferred to the 60-Day Injured List

The Boston Red Sox have transferred pitcher Hunter Dobbins (knee) to the 60-day injured list to make room for the newly acquired Steven Matz. The rookie right-hander last pitched on July 11, and it was there that he suffered a torn right ACL while covering first base on a ground ball. He finished his rookie season with a 4.13 ERA over 61.0 innings pitched while posting a 17.6% strikeout rate and a 6.6% walk rate.
