Garrett Cooper Activated From COVID Injured List
3 years agoThe Miami Marlins activated first baseman/outfielder Garrett Cooper from the COVID-19 injured list on Monday, and he returned to the starting lineup against the Philadelphia Phillies and right-hander Aaron Nola, starting at first base and batting second. Cooper went on the COVID injured list last Saturday, but it wasn't a long absence for the 31-year-old. It's great news for fantasy managers, as Cooper is hitting a strong .315/.389/.473 with an .861 OPS, four home runs, 27 RBI and 21 runs scored in 211 plate appearances and 52 games for the Fish this year. So far in June, he's gone 17-for-36 (.472) with a homer and eight RBI in nine games, so you'll want to get him back into your starting lineups.
