Evan Engram Dealing With A Calf Injury
3 years agoNew York Giants tight end Evan Engram (calf) exited Sunday's preseason game versus the New England Patriots due to a calf injury. He was escorted to the locker room and did not return. The 27-year-old caught three passes on four targets for 22 yards before leaving. Giants head coach Joe Judge expressed optimism that it is a minor injury for Engram. He will go for additional tests Monday and is considered day-to-day. Engram finished as TE18 despite being targeted 109 times, good for 22% of the team's target shares. Kyle Rudolph would become the Giants' primary tight end is someone fantasy managers should target if Engram were to miss any games.
