Evan Engram Continues to Demand Targets with Mediocre Output
Evan Engram continues to be a key player for the offense as they come back to defeat the New York Giants in a fourth-quarter stunner. He caught five of eight targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 33-32 comeback win over the Giants. Earning a season high of eight targets as the Broncos struggled to produce through the first three quarters, Engram would end up third in line for targets as he replicated last week's stat line of five catches for 42 yards. The 31-year-old has been seeing one of the lowest average depths of target that he's ever seen in his career, which explains why he has been underwhelming for fantasy purposes despite seeing consistent opportunities. Likely to continue being a highly targeted player for the Broncos, Engram will look to produce more in Week 8 versus the Dallas Cowboys at home.
