Elijah Mitchell Faces Tough Matchup In Divisional Round
2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell had nine carries for just two yards and caught two of three targets for 25 yards and a touchdown in the 41-23 win over the division-rival Seattle Seahawks in the wild-card round. The touchdown was only his third of the year and first receiving score, as he was limited to five games during the regular season because of injury. He enters Sunday's Divisional matchup against the Dallas Cowboys as the clear backup to workhorse Christian McCaffrey, leaving him with little fantasy upside as a touchdown-dependent RB2 in playoff lineups. On top of it, he'll be facing a Cowboys defense that allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to RBs per game in half-point PPR scoring.
