Luke McCaffrey Remains in Low-Volume Role with Big-Play Upside
Luke McCaffrey recorded his third touchdown catch in his last four games in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears. However, McCaffrey has just eight catches for 179 yards on 10 targets so far this season. Even with Commanders' wideouts Terry McLaurin (quad) and Noah Brown (groin, knee) having missed multiple weeks due to injury, McCaffrey has not seen more than three targets in any game yet in 2025. The 24-year-old clearly has big-play upside, as evidenced by his 22.4-yard-per-reception average, but his low target volume gives him a low floor. McCaffrey is worth rostering in the deepest fantasy leagues while McLaurin and Brown remain sidelined, but his utility is likely limited.
